Yes – always. Store The Patty Project in the freezer until the moment you cook it. There are no preservatives keeping it stable at room temperature, so the freezer is where it stays.

No – cook straight from frozen; that’s how it’s designed to be eaten. If you’d like a head start, 15–30 seconds in the microwave takes the chill off before you crisp it up. Don’t leave it sitting out to thaw.

Because there’s nothing fake holding it together. Commercial frozen patties use stabilisers, emulsifiers and binders to stay rigid — we use none of them. If a patty is left out of the freezer too long it can soften and break. That’s not a fault; it’s the proof. Keep it frozen, cook from frozen, and it holds beautifully.

Under 10 minutes, from frozen. Air fryer (~200°C, 8–10 min), oven (~200°C, 12–15 min) or pan (medium heat, 3–4 min a side).

All four are vegetarian. The Beetroot Project is fully vegan. The Greek, Bombay and Mexican Projects contain cheese.

No. We’re a companion to your meals, not a substitute for anything. We celebrate vegetables — we don’t imitate meat.

The freezer does the work that chemicals do in other products. A 12-month frozen shelf life, with zero preservatives — that took months of R&D with chefs and nutritionists to get right.

Real food — beans, lentils, paneer/cheese and grains. Nothing engineered.
